*«Կենսաբազմազանության պահպանման կենտրոն (BCC Armenia)» հասարակական կազմակերպություն հիմնադրվել է բնության պահպանության ոլորտի փորձագետների խմբի կողմից՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում բնապահպանական գիտակառավարչական ծրագրեր իրականացնելու նպատակով։ BCC Armenia-ի հիմնական նպատակը Հայաստանի կենսաբազմազանության և էկոհամակարգային ծառայությունների պահպանումն է՝ որպես մարդու բարեկեցության հիմք։

BCC Armenia-ն ծրագրում և իրականացնում է ծրագրեր հետևյալ հիմնական նպատակների շրջանակներում.
– բնական ժառանգության և կենսաբազմազանության գնահատում և քարտեզագրում
– էկոհամակարգային ծառայությունների գնահատում և քարտեզագրում
- բնապահպանական կառավարում, որն ապահովում է կենսաբազմազանության պահպանում և կայուն զարգացում
- աջակցություն բնապահպանական իրազեկման և կրթությանը:

BCC Armenia-ի հիմնական անձնակազմը երկար տարիների փորձ ունի Հայաստանի անտառտնտեսության, բնապահպանության և պահպանվող տարածքների պետական և գիտական մարմիններում, ինչպես նաև ՄԱԶԾ-ի, ԳԷՀ-ի, FAO-ի, CEPF-ի, IPBES-ի շրջանակներում միջազգային նախագծերի և նախաձեռնությունների մասնակցության մեջ:
